OUR 2021 “TEABAGS OF LOVE” INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY INITIATIVES CONSIST OF:
- College Trunk Party for a deserving graduating senior from Cardinal Ritter College Prep School.
- Recognition of 21 “TeaBags of Love” supporters from 21 major US cities by gifting them with a teapot from Bobcat’s “TeaBags of Love” collection. Women are encouraged to utilize their creative touch in celebrating their mentees and/or mentors in honor of International Women’s Day.
- Presentation of a $1,500 internship scholarship to a Maryville University communications major in honor of former Vice President
of Institutional Development and the longest-running President of
the St. Louis Press Club, Tom Eschen.
- A Founder’s Day Host-Sponsored socially distanced tea-styled invitational luncheon for 10 pairings.
- Presentation of the prestigious “TeaBags of Love” Award to
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Missouri President and CEO,
- Rebecca (Becky) James Hatter representing the City of St. Louis; world-renowned international VOCALIST Sandra Jamerson representing the USA; and author, publisher and journalist, Swahili Safari Book Series, Catherine Ndegwa representing Kenya, Africa.
